Our Policy
Stay Alive From Education (S.A.F.E.) uses its best efforts to respect the privacy of its online
visitors. At our site, we do not collect personally identifiable
information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily
and knowingly. This means we do not require you to register or
provide information to us in order to view our site.
S.A.F.E. only gathers personally identifiable data, such as names,
addresses, zip/postal codes, e-mail addresses, etc., when voluntarily
submitted by a visitor. For example, personally identifiable
information may be collected in order to subscribe to a mailing list,
add an online story or make posts to our message boards. This
information is used solely by S.A.F.E. or other entities who are
involved in the operation of this site for internal purposes. S.A.F.E.
lists are never sold to third parties. We will only share personally
identifiable information with third parties when:
(i) the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it;
(ii) sharing the information is a necessary operation of the site, or

S.A.F.E. welcomes children to learn more about our organization,
however, we encourage this to be done only with their parent's
knowledge and supervision. For this reason, S.A.F.E. follows the
guidelines for interactive electronic media published by the
Children´s Advertising Review Unit of the Better Business Bureau.
Special notices urging children to get their parent's permission
before providing any personal information have been incorporated into
our site.
Public Forums and Personal Stories
This site makes forums, message servers, and mail-list servers and
personal stories available to its users. These services are not
intended for use by children under the age of 13. However, since
there is currently no way of reliably determining the age of the
visitors to these services, there is no way for us to prohibit usage
by under age individuals. Thus, we do not intentionally know the age
of our users. What is more, we do not tolerate content on our site
that could be even remotely dangerous to children of any age. If such
content should appear on our forums, it is immediately removed. Our
mail-list is moderated. This site will maintain strict standards of
morality and be family and child friendly. As stated in our Privacy
Statement, the very nature of our interactive services allows the
voluntary disclosure of personal information, however, only
information required to perform the specified services is
intentionally collected. Our message forums are moderated and
password protected so as to secure it from improper posting by
unauthorized individuals.
